Nai Lagoon is Ninh Thuan's largest brackish lagoon, famous for blood cockles, shrimp, and crab — fresh and very affordable. Sunrise over the lagoon is stunning — golden light on still water, small fishing boats. A great place to buy fresh seafood directly from fishermen.

When Not To Go

No bad time to visit. However avoid harsh midday sun — morning and evening are more pleasant.

Common Mistakes

•Not trying steamed blood cockles — the best specialty here
•Arriving too late — fishermen sell seafood early morning, sold out by afternoon
